Nursery themes?

Have you ever thought of a preference in nursery themes?

Even though I've tried not to, I have, and though I've went through a couple different choices.... I really like lavendar/lilac themes for a girl, I really like brown and pink or black and pink, but it seems a lot of people have done that, so maybe I'm looking for something a little different??

For boys, I like blues and about a sage color.  I don't really know about specific themes, but I'm working on it! lol  I hope I soon have the need to figure it out!

We had no idea what we were in for....

So after being married for about 3 years, DH and I decided to actively start trying to have a baby.  He has three children, so this should be a piece of cake, right?  WRONG!

Thanks for PCOS, that want, need, desire, has now been prolonged for a good 28 months or so.  Within that amount of time, we suffered a miscarriage in August of 2010.  Since then, we haven't had any luck getting pregnant again.  Regardless of the doses of Femara, Clomid, BCP (for lining reduction and "regulation"), nothing thus far has worked.

Now recently, I did injectable meds (Bravelle, Menopur, and hCG trigger) leading up to an IUI that we had done on Monday 11.14.11.  Now in the middle of the dreaded 2ww and wishing, wondering, waiting....

Seems that is the story of my life as far as ttc goes!

A little intro....

I guess the best way to start this is with a little background info on my hubby and I.  We were married on a Friday evening, September 2nd, 2005 and my life has been so richly blessed since then. (Oh wait, my life was very richly blessed before that.... So this was simply a nicely added bonus!)

My hubby has three children from a previous marriage.  Two of the three were a pretty active part of our lives until about a year or so ago.  However, at best, we got to spend time with them every other weekend and occasionally a "bonus" day here and there.  Outside of those times, it just seemed like something was missing around our happy home. 

Now, don't get me wrong, I love my husband unconditionally.  He and I make a very dynamic duo, and I feel so incredibly blessed in that aspect.  BUT, my dream and my heart's desire is to add a third (permanent) member to our home.  To be able to share such a special part of our lives together in a child would be the very special missing piece to complete the puzzle that is our lives.
